Moleculara

Life is an unfoldment,
and the further we travel the more truth we can comprehend.
To understand the things that are at our door
is the best preparation for understanding those that lie beyond.

A space for scientific exploration…

Moleculara emerged from a simple but enduring motivation: a deep curiosity about biology and a desire to share that curiosity with others. The life sciences are filled with remarkable ideas—from the regulation of gene expression to the ways in which cells interpret and respond to their environment—and one of the most rewarding aspects of learning science is engaging with these ideas through discussion, explanation, and exploration.

This website is a space where I explore topics across the biological sciences and attempt to present them in a clear and accessible way. Here you will find short articles that unpack core biological concepts, opinion pieces that reflect the realities of the academic endeavor, and occasional deeper discussions of recently published research. My aim is to connect the conceptual frameworks taught in textbooks with the questions and discoveries that currently shape modern biological research.

Engaging explorations of scientific ideas, alongside an honest perspective on academic life.

Part of what motivated me to create Moleculara—and to pursue science education more broadly—comes from my own experience as a student. At various points during my education I often found myself yearning for greater mentorship: someone who could help guide my thinking about scientific problems, discuss research papers, and provide perspective on navigating the path toward advanced study. Moleculara is, in part, an attempt to create the kind of resource I often found myself searching for—a place where scientific ideas are approached with curiosity, clarity, and a genuine enthusiasm for understanding how biology works.

Private tutoring & mentorship

Alongside the educational content on the website, I offer private online tutoring for students studying biology and related subjects. I am currently an MPhil student in Biological Sciences at the University of Cambridge, and prior to this I spent two years working on epigenetics and developmental biology as a Research Assistant at the University of Oxford. Through my tutoring and mentorship, I aim not only to help students master specific areas of biology, but also to cultivate the habits of scientific reasoning and problem-solving that underpin meaningful engagement with the life sciences.
